In my last substack post, I served a little taste of my current writing project. Today, I'll dish up a little more. The diminutive book—so far it's another novella— is divided into "chapters" labeled according to the daily sequence of meals. Today’s bit precedes the action covered in the last substack posting (just to keep you on your navigational toes).
